Select the right lighting solution for your stereo microscope to enhance contrast, resolution, and comfort during inspection and documentation tasks.

Euromex
Choosing the right illumination is essential in stereo microscopy and often depends on the degree of transparency of the object. For non-transparent objects, incident (epi-)illumination is used; the object can be illuminated coaxially or at a certain angle. For transparent or partially transparent objects, transmitted (diascopic) illumination is used. Sometimes the simultaneous use of both incident and transmitted illumination gives better results and reveals more detail. Euromex offers various cold-light sources, halogen, fluorescent and LED (ring) illuminations. LED light sources have a much longer service life, consume less power and become less warm than halogen light sources.
